ABOUT ME

I am a state licensed, nationally certified pediatric speech- language pathologist, with 10 years of experience based in Warner Robins, GA.

I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of various developmental delays including autism, CAS (Childhood apraxia of speech), and speech delay.

I’ve been married to my husband Charlie for 6 years and we have two children (ages 4 & 3). Being a Mom of two young children has made me a better therapist!

My Mission

My mission is to improve your child’s communication skills (speech, language, or both) in a playful way, inspiring them to communicate whatever their heart desires!

I have concerns about my child. What are first steps?

Send me an email and I will reach out to you as soon as I can to set up a formal speech and language evaluation. If your child’s results indicate a need for intervention, I will provide you with a plan of care and any supplemental assessments recommended.

Where does speech threapy take place?

An initial evaluation will provide me with an idea of where intervention will be most beneficial for your child. I typically provide therapy in the comfort of your own home. ONLY in certain situations virtual/tele-therapy may be an option.

What does a speech therapy session look like?

The length of a speech therapy session ranges from 30 to 60 minutes. In most circumstances, I encourage families to be fully present and active participants. However, this is dependent on your child’s goals, developmental level, and your child’s unique learning style.

How much does an evaluation and speech therapy cost?

Do you accept health/medical insurance?

I do NOT accept insurance but I am able to provide a medical diagnosis and/or treatment code on your invoice that your insurance may/or may not accept for reimbursement. You will have to contact your insurance and discuss options for “out of network providers” which Lee & Rose Pediatric Speech Therapy, LLC is considered.

The Why Behind “Lee & Rose”

My son’s middle name is “Lee” and my daughter’s middle name is “Rose.” My children are the inspiration behind my business. Being a mother of two young children (with my son previously having a speech delay), plus working with children for a living is no small task. It can be difficult at times, just like anything else in life, but it has made me grow in a variety of ways. It has taught me some valuable lessons I want share with you:

I’ve learned to be efficient and make the most of the time I do have.
I’ve learned to appreciate and celebrate the small wins. Several small wins add up to BIG wins.
I’ve learned to adapt and meet my clients and their families where they are.
I’ve learned to be empathetic and put my self in other people’s shoes. Taking the time to sincerely view things from someone else’s point of view. In doing so, you build connection and trust, and from there the sky is the limit!

All of the valuable lessons I’ve learned are engrained in me. I take these lessons with me into every therapy session. You as parents are trusting me with your child. I want you know that I see you, I hear you, I understand you, and we will work together to support your child.

Are You Ready To Work Together?

I will be accepting clients for SUMMER SESSIONS ONLY with specific dates ranging from June 3rd, 2024 through July 25th, 2024.

Spots are limited! If interested, please send an email titled “SUMMER SESSIONS” to leeandrosespeechtherapy@gmail.com with your name, your child’s name, your child’s DOB, and I will schedule a 15 min phone consultation (free of charge). Depending on the phone consultation, I will follow up by emailing you a “client portal access link” to schedule a comprehensive evaluation.
